Magic, Crepes, and Christmas Cheer: A Look at Brunch With Santa 2025!
By Branching Out | December 12th, 2025
If you weren’t at our Brunch With Santa this past December, we have to be honest, you missed out on some serious holiday magic! Our 2025 event was more than just a party; it was a morning of pure, inclusive joy. We welcomed foster families, group home residents, and families of children with disabilities for a sensory-friendly celebration where every child felt right at home.
Here is a little taste of what went down (and why you’ll want to set a reminder for 2026):
🥞 Gourmet Bites by The Crepe Bar
Forget soggy pancakes. The legendary Jeff Kraus and the team from The Crepe Bar were in the kitchen, whipping up a breakfast spread that had everyone coming back for seconds (and thirds). It’s not every day you get world-class crepes while playing games, jumping in a bounce house and decorating cookies.
🎨 Non-Stop Fun & Games
The energy was electric but perfectly tuned for our guests. The morning was packed with:
Cookie Decorating: Let’s just say we didn't hold back on the sprinkles.
Crafts & Face Painting: Transforming kids into reindeer and snowflakes one brushstroke at a time.
The Bounce Houses: A huge hit for burning off that "cookie energy."
🎅 A Very Special Visit
The highlight, of course, was Santa and Mrs. Claus. This wasn’t your average mall photo op. They were incredibly gentle, kind, and patient, making genuine connections with every child, regardless of age or ability. Seeing the smiles on the faces of kids who usually find Santa visits overwhelming was a gift in itself.
🧡 Our Secret Ingredient: The Volunteers
This event wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible volunteers. From managing the craft tables to ensuring the sensory environment stayed just right, they worked tirelessly to make sure every family felt supported and celebrated.
"It was the first time our son felt comfortable enough to actually talk to Santa. We finally have a Christmas memory that feels like us." — 2025 Attendee
Don't let the FOMO get you next year! This event is a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to make sure every child gets to experience the wonder of the season.
